The motor vehicle office got their new printer yesterday so they were able to give us the sticker for the old van but not without any trouble.  This time the original document did not have the cc size of the engine.  They wanted to see the original paper work to get the number which would have meant another trip to and from Tamale.  The man was very good to us and he went over to Japan Motors and asked them what cc the engine in the old van was and he filled in the paper work for us.  Of course he was rewarded for his kindness.

Steve was supposed to have a continuing education class at the hospital this morning but when he got there they told him that the hospital was still in the middle of an audit and that they had taken over the classroom; the tables were full of account books.

Nazo uses a homemade rake to clear the leaves out of the yard.  The rake is made from the veins of the palm leaves.  The rakes don’t last very long. He goes through at least 20 brooms a year.  We thought it would be a good idea to bring him a metal leaf rake like we use in the states.  We only brought the rake head because the handle was too long for a suitcase.  Steve used the handle from one of Nazo old rakes.  It looks very good.  We gave it to Nazo to use; he said that he liked it but yesterday morning he was back to using his old rake.  I asked him if he did not like the new rake; he said he liked it but it was for special uses like cleaning out the gutters.  You just can’t teach an old dog new tricks!

Steve had to get a new cell phone; you could not hear on the old one without using ear buds.  His old sim card would not fit in his new phone so we had to go to the MTM office this afternoon and get him registered for a smaller sim card.  Of course the phone numbers that were stored on the old sim card have to be transferred to the new phone.  That should keep him busy for a while!

It is almost time for Bible study so I will close for now.  Thank you for all the help.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
