Our lap top stopped working this afternoon.  I am sending this email on Steve’s American cell phone.  This will be an abbreviated email because I am hunting and pecking to write it.  I see that little speaker thing at the bottom of the cell phone I think I will try it and see if it can recognize what I am saying.

Our first stop this morning was the ministries. Steve was only inside the ministry building for about 10 minutes. He was successful in dropping off our material. He did not encounter any problems with the documents that we had to turn in. We were so excited to have that behind us!

After we went to the ministries, we went on over to the cultural center, so I could do a little shopping, but it was so hot today that I did not enjoy my shopping trip! Can you imagine me saying, “I did not enjoy my shopping trip?”  You know it was hot for me to cut my shopping trip short!  Now I didn’t say that I didn’t buy anything. I did find a few nice little items, but one of my suitcases is going to come back to the states not completely over stuffed ; makes me feel a little sad.

I spent the afternoon working on the computer catching up on some of my paperwork when we left the hotel room to go get something to eat the computer was working fine but when we got back, it would not reboot itself. It kept saying there was an error and it needed to restart.  We are computer illiterate so we have no idea what is wrong with the computer.

On a brighter note we had a lovely supper at the Chinese restaurant ; one of the advantages of being an Accra is that there are nice places to eat.

The bed that we’re sleeping on at the hotel is so hard. It’s almost like sleeping on the floor. But I better not complain too much because I know that once we get on that airplane I will be wishing I a hard bed to stretch out on!

Hey, this dictation thing is working pretty good; I may start writing all my emails this way!

Take care and have a great day and please keep us in your prayers as we travel.

In His service,

Steve & Kandie
