Yesterday we left the house for our trip to Mole Game Park around 9:30 am. We also took the opportunity to stop at the auditor’s office to drop off our receipts and paperwork. The auditor wasn’t there; we left the documents.
We arrived at Mole in just enough time to go on a motorized safari in the late afternoon. Our vehicle was a multi-passenger Jeep; mounted over the roof was a platform made of square steel bars overlaid with wooden planks with attached benches that seated seven people. It really makes you appreciate how God made all the animals that we were able to see; Warthogs, monkeys, antelope, birds of all description and Baboons. We were not lucky enough to see any elephants.
This morning we were up at 6am to get ready to go out again. This time we were able to see 4 bull elephants. After eating our breakfast we loaded up the van and headed back to Tamale. We had time to do business with our lawyer, auditor, lands commission and go to Melcom’s to buy some groceries and a new microwave. Our old microwave died back in November and we didn’t have time to purchase another until today. We are spending the night in Tamale.
That is about it for now. Thank you for your prayers and support.
In His service,
Stephen, Kandie, Dahlia, and Jack
