We may be sleeping in the spare room tonight because the air conditioner in our bedroom has stopped cooling; it is a split unit and it is frozen up inside and outside.  It has not been cooling very well for a little while but we just chalked it up to the power outages.  The air conditioner mechanic does not work on Sunday’s so he can go to church.  It will be Monday before he can fix it.  We are happy to have another room with air conditioning.

We spent the morning making copies.  Steve got the invitations for the seminar printed and folded.  He will pass them out next week when the men come in for the monthly classes.  We also made 2000 + cards for the Child Center.  These are the identification cards that the mothers bring when they come back to the Center.

After Timothy, the evangelist, finished painting this morning he started steam ironing the suit coats we bought for the men that come to class.  When we showed him the suit coats he started clapping his hands.  He was so excited; he said that everyone loves a suit coat but it is difficult to find enough money to buy one; even used.  As Timothy has been pressing them he has been shopping.  He is happy that he is going to get first choice.  I brought him a big mirror so he could see how he looks as he is trying them on.  Better than Christmas!  Steve will tie a bunch of neck ties so the men will have a good selection to choose from.  They do not know how to tie a tie so Steve gets the job of tying them all.  We are going to try and find enough pre-tied ties for the men next time we come to Ghana.  Hint!  Hint!  If you have a pre-tied tie that you would like to donate to the cause please send it our way.

Today was Yendi’s big market day.  While we were in the market we saw Zorash and Meri.  Meri caught us as we were leaving the market.  We gave her a ride home.  She was happy not to have to walk the 2 miles from town to her house carrying the things she bought in the market and totting a baby on her back.  It was her lucky day!

Thank you for all you do for us and for the work.  We really appreciate you!

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
