When members from the congregation at Binamondo visited us last week they invited us to worship with the congregation today. The congregation is just a two miles from where we worshipped two weeks ago. Today I took the long way around because the road is so much smoother instead of taking the terrible Gnani road. Taking the long way around meant we passed the congregation at Nanjuni where we were two weeks ago. As we drove by we stopped long enough to shake hands with the brother. It’s pretty bad when a bush road is better than a main road. We didn’t feel so beat up when we arrived at Binamondo.
I taught the same lesson that I have been teaching for the past four Sundays that uses the key and padlock as a demonstration of God’s word unlocking salvation for all those that follow God’s commands. You could tell the audience understood the lesson.
The congregations are always happy to get the items that we bring along to give to the Church. One thing is for sure a new bench is always a welcomed gift. As usual we had the question and answer period after services.
We also called on the old Chief of the village after services. This is an old man that can barely hear it thunder but he is always happy to see us.
When we got back to the compound Kandie worked on dresses that needed repaired and I tied 114 neck ties. The skin on my neck was starting to get irritated tying all those ties.
Tonight at Kulkpeni we got permission from the Church to hold the seminar next month. We also went to the village regent to ask for his blessing to hold the seminar in the village as well. It is not essential but a common courtesy shown to the chief of the village. The seminar is just a little over a month away. The time goes fast trying to get everything prepared.
Hope you had a good Lord’s Day. Please keep us in your prayers. May God bless!
In His service,
Stephen and Kandie Taylor
