We are back in Ghana.  We had a wonderful visit with my brother Buz’s family.  He is missed by all that knew him.  We will have a celebration of his life in January.  It looks like it is going to be the weekend of January 18th.

Marcus our son-in-law came with us.  He is going to be the speaker for this year’s seminar.  He is so excited to be back in Ghana.  He spent the summer with us 18 years ago.  He is going to be surprised at how much things have changed and how much remains the same.

We had a good flight over but we did not make it here with all our bags.  We are missing 3 bags; two of them are filled with things for the Child Center but the other one has all of Marcus’ clothes.   Fortunately he packed a pair of shorts and shirt in his back pack so he won‘t have to run around naked while we wash his clothes.

When Steve and Marcus reported the missing luggage they were told that it would come in on the flight tomorrow afternoon.  The luggage has to be picked up in person.  We have already moved to “Plan B” and we have not even been in the country 12 hours!  We desperately need to be in Yendi tomorrow so we can buy the food for the seminar.  Steve is going to stay in Accra and pick up the luggage tomorrow and fly to Tamale on the earliest flight Sunday morning.  Marcus and I are going to fly to Tamale with the luggage.  Red will meet us at the airport and drive us to Yendi.  Then Red will return to Tamale early Sunday morning and get Steve.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that the missing luggage comes in tomorrow!

Thank you for all the prayers.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
