Steve has been working on his lessons for the monthly classes.  It is hard to believe that it is class time again and that the month is nearly over.  They say, “Time flies when you are having fun!”  But I think time flies because we are all getting older!

This month Steve is going to talk about “Lying”.   It will make an interesting class and I know that the questions will abound.  Many times when Steve has a particularly good class the brothers will ask him to come to their village and re-teach the lesson.

Zorash did not come to work this morning.  She called Steve while he was at his continuing education class at the hospital; he was not supposed to have his cell phone on.  Oops!  He cut it off and also cut her off.  She called Mr. Iddrisu to let him know but she did not tell him why she could not come.  She has a storeroom full of shea butter waiting to be shipped to England.  Maybe the truck came to pick it up today.  Amama was not able to come to work because her husband’s brother died and they were doing the burial today.  That means that over the next week she will have to take off a few more days to cook for the visitors that will come to celebrate the funeral.

Divine stopped by for a visit this afternoon.  He said that he got the metal doors on the school kitchen painted.  He seemed to enjoy the painting and he volunteer to paint the other doors and windows when the welders gets them finished.

We ran out of cooking oil in the Child Center so we went to town this afternoon to buy more.  We give the oil to the mothers for the malnourished children to boost their calorie count.  They add a teaspoon of oil to the child’s porridge.  The oil adds calories without adding volume.  Many of these children only eat a small amount before they are full.

Mr. Iddrisu and Nazo spent the afternoon bagging weaning mix (cereal for the malnourished children).  We would have packed it while we were working this morning but we were too short-handed to do anything but see the babies.

It is almost time for Bible study so I will close for now.  Thanks for your help!

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
