As predicted we ran out of bears this morning so we started giving out small blow up balls and baby hats. The mothers don’t seem to care what they get; they are just happy to get something.

We left the mission house shortly after 12:00 to come to Tamale. Barry Smith is flying to Tamale tomorrow on the first flight. He should be here at 7:00. Barry is an American that works with missions at Madison Church. He will only be here for a couple days.

We are spending the night in Tamale so we will not have to get up so early in the morning to pick him up. We had some business that we needed to do in Tamale so it is all working out well.

It is time to pay the insurance on the vehicles as well as the liability insurance for the Child Center. After we left the insurance office we went to the air line office and bought our tickets to fly to Accra at the end of the week. We went to the phone office to see why the house phone is not working. This has been an ongoing problem since March of last year. We got no satisfaction from the office. We are supposed to come back on the 3rd of March. We stopped by auditor’s office so Jack could say “Hello” to the auditor. He met Jack last time he was in Ghana and asks about him every time we see him.

Our last stop was the cultural center. Everyone except Steve bought something. Steve is not much of a shopper. Mostly he just walks around behind me writing receipts and carrying the things I buy.

The hotel that we stay at is run by a lovely Indian couple; they also run the restaurant which means the food is delicious! We are full to overflowing! Jack and Dahlia are sitting in an outdoor area taking advantage of the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi does not reach the bedrooms.

Take care and keep us in your prayers as we travel.

In His Service,
Steve, Kandie, Dahlia, and Jack
