I have played most of the day!  I sorted my quilting scraps and started cutting pieces for a couple more quilts.  I want to use only Ghanaian fabric but please the prints are so large and so busy that it makes it difficult to know what to piece together.  Such trials I have in life!  Ha!

The “home use” (used) air filter housing came up from Kumasi yesterday evening.  Gomda got it put on today but not until some modifications were done to both the air filter housing and the truck.  Gomda assures us that it is working.  It is much better than the old one; the old one had broken and it had been sewed back together with wire.  It has lasted like that for years but Gomda was afraid it was not doing as good a job as it could be doing.  He wants the new used rebuilt engine to last for another 20 years!

Zorash stopped by this afternoon for a visit; she has been really sick.  She went to the hospital yesterday and they gave her IV Rocephin.  She said that she had to have another dose today.  She did not want to take today’s dose because it make her so sick yesterday but she ate before they gave it to her and she did not get sick.  She said that she was feeling better today but not well enough to ride her motorcycle so she walked to the hospital.

Zorash said that they found out where the rest of her money from the savings and loan bank went.  She said that one of the employees admitted to removing the money from her account.  Now get this, they have not arrested the man nor are there any plans to arrest him.  The bank also owes him some money and the plan is that when the bank releases his money to him he will pay Zorash back!  Is that the craziest thing you have ever heard of?  And the man has not even been fired from his job; and no one is even threatening to fire him!  I wonder how many other people’s money he has taken.

Mr. Iddrisu came back to work this morning.  He has been out all week working with his corn.  He said that it is all shucked but has not yet been shelled; it seems it is too wet to shell.  He said that this year’s crop is not as good as last year’s because he planted inferior seeds.  He said that he stored his seed corn in a plastic bag and it all molded and spoiled.  He will still have enough to eat but none to sell.

Steve spent a good portion of the day working on the monthly report.  Tis that time again. You should be getting the report in a few days.

Have a great day!
