It is thundering south of Yendi so hopefully someone will get rain tonight. Our rain does not come from that direction but at this point in time if anyone gets rain it is a good thing!

Steve finished the monthly report; I started editing it but my sewing was calling me so I abandoned it! I had almost finished squaring up the quilt blocks and I was on a roll! Ha! I was able to finish squaring the blocks before we started cooking supper. We are having stir fried chicken and vegetables tonight with brown rice so there was a monumental amount of slicing and dicing that we had to do. Steve is good with a knife. I also forgot that today is Wednesday. We try to eat before we go to Bible class. The dishes can wait until tomorrow. I guess the monthly report will have to wait for tomorrow too!

The air conditioner in our bedroom was not cooling and blowing the way it should be so we decided to clean the fins and filters. It is amazing how much dust builds up on the fins of the fan. It is a split unit and requires regular maintenance. We have to cover all the surfaces in the bedroom with plastic sheeting so it makes the cleanup easier. It took us over an hour to get it cleaned but it is cooling very well now and blowing the papers that are hanging on the opposite wall. We have to clean it about once a month. It gets very hot in the room when the air conditioner is off! My head lamp had a fault and kept going off. Steve finally reworked the batteries and it held until we got the job finished.

We had no visitors today and no one called except for the scammers. Steve’s phone has been inundated with scam calls and text messages. The calls are not even from Ghana or the United States. Some of them are from countries I have only heard of but I would be hard pressed to find them on a map. Of course, he does not answer them and he blocks them. I would hate to know that I had to be on the phone all day long trying to find someone to scam!

Take care and enjoy your day!

Mom thought that she was going to get to take a nap this afternoon but I had other ideas! She thought that she was going to get me to take a nap with her but I had other ideas. About the time she dozed off I would get in her face and pry her eyes open. I brought my toys up on the bed and jumped around fighting with them. We are on a full motion waterbed so every time I jump the bed wobbles her around. She tried to give me a bottle because she thought that if my tummy was full, I would have to take a nap. I just refused to drink my bottle! She tried to get her whole body under the blanket; I thought that was a grand game! I can squeeze under the blanket in the tiniest places. Once I was under the blanket, I tormented her; I bit her toes; I tried to climb in her shirt; I pulled off her glasses; I tried to look in her mouth; I tried to pull her pillow out from under her head and made a total nuisance of myself! I was not napping and neither was Mom. She finally gave up and got up and went back to her sewing!

Just in case you are wondering, I did not have to go in the time out box today! I don’t get put in there for being a pest, just if I bite.

I am such a sweetheart!
