We were excited that we found fresh vegetables in Tamale this morning.  We bought radishes, green beans, cauliflower, potatoes, spinach, and a watermelon.  Life is good!  We also found a “cold” store that had frozen chicken wings.

While we were driving around Tamale we spied a 6 ft. fiberglass ladder that had been imported from the states.  It was a Werner brand; just like they sell at Lowes.  We would have bought it but we were in the red truck and it has a cab on the back.  Next week we will have to go back to Tamale with Timothy’s motorcycle so we can pick it up then.  Speaking of Timothy’s motorcycle; we took the clutch parts back to Japan motors because they would not fit.  The parts man said that he would call Kumasi to see if they had any advice for us.  We stopped again this morning and he said that the mechanic in Kumasi said he had the same problem a while back.  He ordered the parts; they should be in Tamale next week.  We decided that we will take Timothy’s motorcycle to Japan motors and let them put in the new clutch to ensure that it has the right parts.

We picked up the Child Center’s renewal certificate.  We had to go a couple places before we found the ink cartridges we needed for the printer.  We will need them next month when we print the invitations and programs for the seminar.  Steve bought new light fixtures for the bathroom in the main house.  The florescent lights that are in the bathroom have ballasts and starters.  When the voltage is low they will either not come on or they will blink continually.  When the lights start flashing I jokingly say, “I am going to have a seizure!”

We got back to Yendi at 2:30.  Nazo told us that it rained yesterday afternoon but the corn had time to dry before it started raining.  Amina and the ladies that work for us are going to start roasting corn on Monday if it is not raining.  We are almost out of weaning mix.  I want to have some of the corn ground into cornmeal so I can make cornbread.

Thank you for your support.  Please continue to pray for us.
