The officer from GRA (Ghana Revenue Authority) called Steve 3 times today asking for clarification on the information we gave them and to let him know that they were still working on the certificate but the network was still down.
Steve had a meeting with the employees this morning. The first part of the meeting was sort of a brain storming session. Many ideas were put out there as in any meeting; some could be used and some could not. They still mentioned getting guns! Please can you imagine this bunch with guns? That is a sure way for me to get shot! The workers were on board with most of the changes.
Red stopped by and we told him that we wanted to put doors on the garage so no one could see or get to the vehicles. He thought that was a great idea. He came back this evening with the estimate. It will be a bit costly but well worth the money. He is going to start the job tomorrow.
Nazo is sick. He said that he has not been out of his house for the past 2 days. He said he had constipation and that he was going to the bathroom too much. We told him that was diarrhea; he said that it is diarrhea but because he only poops a little it is constipation. Nazo has not eaten anything in 2 days that explains a lot. Nazo was also coughing during the meeting this morning. He said he had been to someone to get some medicine. I would like to have him tested for Covid but I bet he will refuse.
I hate that he came to the meeting and exposed everyone to whatever he has! At least he was wearing his mask (correctly most of the time). We will check on him tomorrow; if he is still sick we might have to drag him to the doctor.
Boat, the A/C repair man came this morning to tell us he had a better looking condemned refrigerator. We went to his shop this afternoon and changed them out. It still looks retched but at least the door closes.
We got the water and small fridge moved out of Mr. Iddrisu’s office and we picked up Nazo’s key. We moved Nazo’s stuff to the paint shed; that will be his new office. Nazo did not stay to work after the meeting. He was feeling too poorly and asked to go home.
Thank you for all your help.
In His Service,
Steve and Kandie
