The mason finished and was cleaning up his tools when he remembered to check the rain gutter.   There is one place that always leaks.  He climbed on the roof and found the problem.   He has another job but when he finishes he will come back and see if he can figure out how to stop the leak.  Everything looks good and all the rooms’ ceilings are sealed.  Of course as he was throwing his mortar in the holes he got some on the freshly painted walls.  We have lots of leftover paint so it will not be a problem to touch up the walls.

Shiabu, the electrician, also came today to start re-hanging the ceiling fans.  Two of the fans we had Mr. Adams rework after the rain got inside of them had a problem.  They ran but they only ran slowly backward.  Rather strange!  We decided that we would just buy 2 more new fans instead of trying to get them fixed.  We will probably give the fans to someone and let the headache be theirs!  Aren’t we kind?  Shiabu got 5 fans hung today and he has 11 more to hang.  He said that he would finish hanging them tomorrow.  Really, he will have to come early and stay late.  He also rewired the hot water heater.  He did not like the wire that was on the heater.  The wire was some that my dad had brought from the states and there was nothing wrong with the wire; it had been successfully heating water for 18 years but Shiabu wanted to change it so we let him.

Zorash stopped by for a visit this morning and to bring us some liquid dish soap and bleach that a friend of hers mixes and sells.  Her friend lives in Tamale and she went to visit her yesterday and brought back soap for us to try.  Zorash took pity on us and offered to stay and work.  She said that she did not have anything important to do at home and she could use the extra money.  We were happy for the extra set of hands.

I forgot to tell you that day before yesterday, Simeon, the young man who wants a job preaching, stopped by to pick up the small freezer we bought for him.  We bought the freezer for him so he could start a small business selling frozen fish.  That way he will be self-sufficient and still be able to preach.  He was happy with the freezer. Steve loaded it in the back of the truck and took it to the bus station.  They load all sorts of stuff on the top of these buses.

Thank you for your prayers!  We appreciate them.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
