We have been rushing around all day long!  We have only sat down to eat; we must eat; we must keep up our strength!  The list of things that we have to do in order to get the mission house locked up is long.  We got a lot of things checked off today.

We sent Mr. Iddrisu to the bank this afternoon with the surplus money.  The bank account in Yendi is such a blessing.  We washed 4 loads of clothes because we washed the bedding and the comforters.  We had a bright sunny hot day today which was perfect drying clothes!

Red stopped by this morning to put the finishing touches on my brother Paul’s truck and to collect the money we owed him for his labor and sleep over in Tamale to get the new clutch put in.  Red is in the process of buying a truck that is a lot like a wrecker; it has a crane attached to the back.  When he tried to pay for the truck the owner told him that he was going to remove the crane!   What in the world!  Red had to renegotiate the price in order to get the crane.  Without the crane it is just an ordinary dump truck!  He already has a dump truck!  I told him that he was not finished paying for the truck because it was still in Tamale and the ownership had not yet been changed into Red’s name.  Money Pit!

It was a good thing that Red stopped by because he thought that we were flying out on Tuesday instead of Sunday.  Oops!  We are leaving Ghana on Tuesday but we have to go down a day early to turn in our paperwork for our quota renewal.  We intend to be at the Minister of Interior’s office as soon as it opens Monday morning.  We want to be there early just in case we do not have all the documentation that we need; we will have a little time to correct any mistakes that we have made.  You would think that as many times as we have done this we would know the procedure but things keep changing.

This afternoon we took a load out to Timothy’s house.  He keeps communion juice and Bibles at his house in case any of the brothers need them while we are gone.  Timothy had been in the farm today.  He is so pleased that Jegrido, his father’s village, is getting some good rains this year.  We pray that the rains will keep coming.

We checked on the formula that we ordered from the store near the hospital this afternoon to see if the shipment had come in yet.  Not only had it not come in, the guy that works there said the owner had not yet ordered it.  Please!  Steve told them to cancel our order.  Fortunately we have enough to last until we come back to Ghana.

Take care, enjoy your weekend!

Mom broke a quart jar this morning!  I am so happy that she is the one that is in trouble this time and not me!  It is nice to get a break from being in trouble.

That strange man that keeps coming into the compound makes me nervous.  He is here to raise yam mounds; I wish he would hurry up and get finished and go away!  When he is in the yard I am so worried that I cannot eat!  Mom finally took me in the house so I could not see or hear the man so I could enjoy my breakfast in peace!

I had to go in the Time Out box today!  I was outside running free having the time of my life and I thought that I could make secret attacks without getting in trouble!  I would jump out of the tree onto Mom’s back and give her a nip and run!  I only got away with it a few times before Mom reached up and grabbed me just as I was biting her arm!  That woman is quick for a plump lady!  Off to solitary confinement I went!

Did I tell you that when I am in solitary confinement I have figured out that I can jump in the crate and make it move?  Well, I can; I am so clever!  I also can stick my hands through the bars and grab things.  Most of the things I get hold of are too big to pull inside the Time Out crate with me but that does not keep me from trying!

Dad hurt me today!  I heard Mom ask him if he could give me my shot of Ivermectin!  What I thought that was a thing of the past since Mom got the liquid! Well, to be honest Mom only tricked me into drinking that stuff once.  Dad said sure and out popped the syringe.  Mom was holding me and we all went outside like one big happy family!  Everyone was happy but me when the shot was over! What’s going on; does Dad now think he is a vet?

Nip and Run is the way to get things done!
