This morning I awoke to the sound of my cell phone ringing.  It was Brother Divine from Kpamang. He was calling to update me about the plan the village is trying to make with a contractor to build a dam by their village for a water source.   Divine said he is waiting on the contractor to get back with them.

After I got out of bed I noticed I was feeling a little dizzy; sort of like when you’re having motion sickness. It lingered on all morning. So much so I didn’t go down to the center except to check on the workers and I then went right back to my room.  I was able to work on the computer about 45 minutes on a tract but it seemed like every time I went out of my room and into the heat the problem would increase.

I was awakened around 1:30 pm by the door bell. Dawda, the mason said he had come by earlier in the morning but I was resting. He had come to take a look at the area we want to put a cement pad down to hold another poly tank for water storage. The job will not take long but I need to get the measurement of the tank so we make the pad large enough.  There is a guy selling premade concrete blocks about ¼ of a mile down the road toward Yendi.

Later in the afternoon I labeled the PPP containers that Amama had filled earlier in the day. Sometimes in this heat the labels don’t want to stick and start coming off. I have to make sure that doesn’t happen.

That about sums it up for today. I’m hoping to be ready to get more work done tomorrow.  Take care.

In His service,

Stephen Taylor
