Divine, the evangelist is on his way to the mission house.  He has the paper work for one of the churches in his area.  He needs us to make colored copies of the men’s voter ID cards.  Steve told him that we would be leaving for Kulkpeni for Friday evening Bible study at 6:00.  He said “I am on my moto on my way coming!” which means he is actually in route to the mission house.

We got back from Tamale around noon today.  We were successful in getting the books dropped off at the bus station.  This is the first time we have sent anything by the bus system.  Everyone we talked to told us we would be given a tracking number of some sort but we did not get a number.  The lady in the office looked at us like we were crazy.  We asked how they would know that the right person picked up the boxes.  She said they will know, they will ask him what his name is.  Really!  Steve called Bro. Richard to let him know we had nothing to give him.  He asked if we had the driver’s name and the bus number but we did not because the bus was not at the bus station yet.  So who knows how long it will take the books to get to him.  Everyone tells us that this is a very reliable way to send stuff so we will see.

All the clothes that were given to us to distribute among the churches are finally dry.  Steve and I started folding and sorting them this afternoon.  We are sorting by item not sizes.  All the pants are in one stack, shirts in another, women clothes and children’s clothes have their own stacks.  There are so many clothes that each stack has its own table.  We got one bag sorted this afternoon; there are 9 more bags to go through.

We went to town this afternoon and bought benches for the churches.  Steve likes to take the congregations we visit on Sunday mornings a bench and a Bible for a gift.  They appreciate getting the gifts.  Kulkpeni needs a couple more benches for their children’s class.  They say the children behave better when they are sitting on benches than sitting on the floor.

Mr. Iddrisu stopped by for a visit this afternoon.  He still does not have any leads on the

whereabouts of his motorcycle.  He is just sick about it getting stolen.  He said that he had just paid it off a couple months ago.

It is almost time for Bible study so I will close for now.  Have a great day!

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
