We were very excited when Divine showed up with the churches’ paperwork! We had been expecting him all day. The documents were being sent to Yendi by the State Transport bus. That is the quickest way to get something from point A to point B as long as it is not too valuable of an item. Steve called Timothy to let him know the documents had arrived. Now Timothy has to call all the churches to let them know they have to come to the mission house on Monday. Monday will be a very busy day! Divine said that he would come and help us organize everything.
Divine has a new cell phone; it can get on the internet. Divine has been listening to the news and all the goings on with Iran. He is very worried! Already we have seen a spike in fuel prices and bus fares here in Ghana. When the price of fuel goes up so does everything else.
Steve worked on the Child Center books today. The books he worked on earlier this month were the books for the day-to-day operations, building and evangelism. He now has us caught up on all the books. Right now, he is making copies of the documents that Divine brought for the various churches. We like to make copies of everything because we never know when something will go missing. It will take him most of the evening to get the copies made. We are thankful that we were able to get the copier semi-fixed. He still has to feed the documents in one at a time but now the copies are clean!
I am getting so close to finishing the quilt top I have been working on; I thought that I might get it finished today but it is not going to happen. Just too many interruptions!
Take care and have a great week-end!

I had an almost perfect day! It was absolutely marvelous until this afternoon. I could not figure out why Mom was scurrying around. She knew that Divine was here and she was trying to get me out of the house and onto the veranda so I would feel safe. Well, when she took off my diaper I had pooped so she had to stop and clean me up. Mind you, the parents gave me worm medicine yesterday and my stomach was not at its best! By the time she had me cleaned up and we walked into the living room there stood Divine; I don’t like him because he scares me! I was temporarily crazy and started fighting to get out of Mom’s arms! I just knew that Divine was going to get me! In my struggle to get free I pooped again! Mom did not realize that I had pooped until we were safely outside. Poop was everywhere! I have never pooped on anyone before; well maybe when I was a little baby but not since I have become a big boy! I had it in my fur, on my belt, on my hands, it was all over the front of Mom’s shirt. I was holding onto Mom’s hair with all my might; she just knew there was poop in her hair. She put me on a new leash where I was safe. Then she snuck back in the house to our bathroom; sanitized as best as she could and changed her clothes. After Divine left, I got a bath! What in the world is happening to me? Two baths in two days! What did I do to deserve that humiliation?
I hate baths but I was glad to get the poop out of my fur!
Love, Skeeter
