The new poly tank is full of rain water!  We are so excited!  The last rain filled the reservoir ¾’s of the way full.  We gave the water a day to settle and to absorb the chlorine before we pumped it into the poly tank.  We would use the water straight from the reservoir but the reservoir leaks and we have not been able to find a way to keep it from leaking.  The big mango tree keeps breaking through the cement.  The reservoir loses about 2 inches of water a day.  Shortly after the rain stops the reservoir is dry; hence the need for another poly tank.  With the new tank we should have enough water to last through the dry season if we are careful and conserve where we can.

We spent the day getting ready for our trip to Kumasi tomorrow.  We have been invited to attend the opening of a new congregation.  Timothy and Divine are going to go with us.  Since Mr. Iddrisu has taken the week off Zorash and Meri will have to run the Child Center by themselves on Monday.  Mondays are always a busy day for the Center because the orphan’s caregivers come on Monday and Thursday to get formula for the babies.  Zorash stopped by for a visit this afternoon and we told her that we were going to have Amama come to the Center on Monday to help out.  Amama usually works in the house but they will need her in the Center.  Nazo usually has Sunday and Monday off but he is going to come to work on Monday too.

Divine stopped by this afternoon to give us a report on how things went in Tamale.  We sent him over there on an errand.  He could have told us how things went when we are traveling tomorrow but he wanted us to see his new used motorcycle, the first one he has ever owned and to ask for a little help paying on some repairs it needed.

It is almost time to leave for Friday evening Bible study.  More questions tonight.  This time we are going prepared.  We are taking an electronic Bible with us that has a good search engine.  It will make it easier looking up the scriptures.

Have a great week-end.  Keep us in your prayers especially while we are traveling!

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
