As soon as we got up this morning we started turning the shea butter into diaper rash ointment and ring worm ointment. It was not long before we figured out that we did not have enough containers to make the amount of ointment that we wanted to make so we called Zorash and asked her if she would go with us and help us find the lady that sells the containers. We usually buy the containers on market day but we missed market day this week because we were in Tamale / Bolgatanga. We were lucky that the lady was at home. She had lots of the containers for the ring worm ointment but she only had 350 of the containers for the diaper rash ointment and we had 200 at the mission house. We wanted to make 750 containers of each but we had to be satisfied with what we could get. She told us that she had ordered more containers and that she would call Zorash when they came in. It took most of the day for us to make the ointment. We ended up making 746 containers of ring worm ointment and 550 containers of diaper rash ointment. Jack jumped right in there and helped us. I told him that his hands would be so soft! He was not impressed! The extra set of hands made our work go faster.

The motorcycle had a slow leak in the rear tire. Steve noticed it last week but he did not get around to taking it to the vulcanizer to be worked on until this morning. Jack will be happy to be able to take his afternoon rides again.

The agric man came again this morning to spray the mango trees. They seem to be looking a little better and we can see some new growth coming out. Hopefully he will be able to kill whatever is making the trees sick.

Samuel, one of the brothers from Nalongni stopped by this afternoon to pick up a couple Bibles. We visited the church at Nalongni last Sunday and he had asked for a Bible then but we did not have any extra ones with us. We only had the one that we gave the church. Our thanks go out to all of you who give us money for Bibles.

We intended to pick up the pulpits that have been painted and take the painter a few more that have the welders have finished but it rained off and on most of the afternoon. Maybe we can get them tomorrow afternoon after we get back from worship.

The green truck has been having a hard time starting. Steve finally broke down and put a new battery in it and it popped right off. Hopefully that is all that is wrong with it.

Take care and have a great day!

In His Service,

Jack, Steve and Kandie
