We are back in Yendi; the Clarks are with us! They arrived in Accra this morning ahead of schedule; it is nice when a plane comes in earlier than expected. Their plane landed around 6:30 a.m. We are proud to announce they made it here with all their luggage and all of our luggage. They were kind enough to bring extra luggage in for us! Not just one piece of luggage; they brought us 4 large suitcases that weighed about 50 pounds each!

We were happy to see them walk out of the arrivals hall! Bismark, the guy that usually picks us up in a van, was there waiting on their arrival. This morning he did not have the van; he brought a small car. We were only going from the international terminal to the domestic terminal; we could have walked but we could not have dragged all that luggage. Since the car was small, he had to make 2 trips. On the first trip he took the bulk of the luggage and me (Kandie). I stayed with the luggage while he went back and picked up Steve, Pam, Jim and the rest of the luggage. When “Plan A” fails, move to “Plan B”!

We had a lot of time to kill waiting for the noon flight to fly to Tamale. We sat and visited at the small airport restaurant. Jim and Pam had breakfast on the plane but Steve and I had not had breakfast so we ordered toast, fried eggs, and sausage and Jim and Pam had hot tea. My eggs were scrambled and the sausage was really cut up hotdogs. We were hungry and the food was delicious!

We were the second people in line when the gate agent started checking people in for the flight from Accra to Tamale. After we checked in, we had another 1 ½ hours to wait before we boarded the plane. We arrived in Tamale with all the luggage. When we flew down to get Jim and Pam we left the van in the airport parking area. The airport is relatively new and they have a parking attendant so the parking area is pretty safe.

When we passed through Tamale we did a little shopping; we needed vegetables and fruit. We also stopped at a small grocery store and bought green beans and Pringles.

Our last stop before we left Tamale was at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). We ate our lupper in the van on the way back to Yendi. When we passed through Kulkpeni we stopped and greeted Timothy Niligrini, the evangelist. We arrived in Yendi just before dark at about 5:30 p.m.

Pam unloaded the goodies that they brought for us! It was like Christmas and our birthdays all rolled into one! I have already been snacking on the hot crackers that Pam made for us! Good Times!

Take care and thank you for the prayers!
